We are still in Italy, but will be home mid-week, but I'm back to regular posting again--yay for good Internet connections! There are no Weekend Snaps today since we are still travelling, but I wanted to share my go-to Fall outfit, anytime I have free time or am heading out to run errands on the weekend.
These Free People thermals are my go-to, and since purchasing the black and cream colours in the Spring, I knew I had to splurge on this olive coloured one that came out this fall. I know they are a little pricey, but the fit is amazing (size down), they are uber comfortable, wash well and I wear mine all the time. Additionally, they are a great layering piece and believe me when I say, you will get your money's worth.
My style has evolved over the past couple years and I really love casual dressing, in neutral tones. While I'm all for experimenting, once you nail down your personal style, investing in some great basics you will wear frequently, and are able to mix and match, will maximize your time outside of getting dressed for the day. This denim is definitely not budget-friendly, I'm fully aware, but I've worn them to death and they still look brand new. Bonus: they've been the most worn while in Italy because they feel like leggings (Christmas wish list anyone?). Throw a pair of tan booties in and #outfitcomplete.

We arrived in Bellagio yesterday afternoon, travelling from Venice on the train, then by car to this beautiful, small town. Situated in the province of Como, we were really excited to stay in the main part of the village at Hotel du Lac. Situated directly across from the ferry, steps from amazing food and shops, the location really cannot be beat.
We checked into our hotel and headed out to explore the little town. Bellagio is definitely a walk-able town, and you certainly won't need a car here. There are, however, tons of stairs to go up and down, so flat, comfortable shoes are a must. Poke around the boutiques, purchase Como-famous silk scarves or grab a gelato and take in the amazing views.
F21 CHOKER (SIMILAR)
Happy Saturday! I'm back with another round up of Forever 21 finds for you girls. I'm loving all their fall merch that's hitting the stores. Chokers are huge and if you haven't jumped on that trend yet, you totally should, and you can pull it off. I couldn't find mine above online, but picked it up about a month ago so it might still be in stores.
Oversized cardis, surplice tops (ones that drape and cross in the front), bombers and lace up tops are all on trend items for going into the cooler months.
A few pieces I haven't included below but am loving are this drapey jacket in several colours, perfect for pairing with a denim and booties. I'm also really loving this statement top which would be beautiful with a pencil skirt or cigarette pants for a Christmas party. I'm still loving this faux leather moto vest, this poncho is super cute for this time of year, this budget-friendly double-buckle belt & how amazing are these rose gold metallic pants?!
It's October and if you're in a cooler climate like me, I hope you're taking advantage of the boots, layers and general sweater weather. Personally, I love wearing all my favourite suede and leather boots that I can't wear once the snow flies (because they will get ruined!).

The All Saints leather jacket above was a gift from Marco for Christmas last year--these jackets are amazing quality and they rarely go on sale. I was shocked to see that All Saints is part of the sale and this jacket is what I would add to my collection next (if it wasn't already so similar to my current one!).
I'm still loving off the shoulder and there are two tops in the sale, at different price points, that are very similar to mine below, but even nicer. I love that these ones are longer in the body--mine is a little cropped so it has to be worn with a high-waisted pant--and that they have long sleeves. How cute would it look with a chunky scarf and boots?!
