Fall is in full swing here in Ottawa and September was a great month.  Marco & I celebrated our one year anniversary, I pulled some boots from my shoe collection that have only seen the outdoors once (a while back) and I took Peanut for a weekend at the beginning of the month.

I shared my workout routine of late, got my hands--finally--on a pair of Romy's from Shoemint and celebrated a girlfriend's birthday.  I ordered and received my new business cards (more on that soon)  and took a photography course to learn how to use a DSLR camera.

I rocked my new camo pants, had some wedge boots shortened and visited with my almost two-month old nephew--who's weighing now at 14 pounds!  I purchased some new boots--Givenchy knock-offs--which I'm obsessed with, went to a party with friends and received flowers from Mel Mac

Sarah and I filmed the BFF Tag video, I filmed a Fall Fashion video for my PDO gig and spent the last Saturday of the month jacket-less while running errands with my man.

Outfit deets:
* Urban Planet top (old).
* Sirens pants (the same ones I have in camo).
* Shoemint 'Romy' heels which I recently got (and love, and am making the most out of any sunny and beautiful day to wear them because Winter is around the corner).
* Accessories:  Limite necklace, MK watch, Aldo bangle & Urban Planet 'love' bangle.

I'm stoked to share these pictures with you because (1) I took them myself, and (2) do you know how hard it is to get a blurry background when photographing yourself?!  I kind of can't believe these photos turned out so well and am patting myself on the back a little.  The photography course that I took a few weekends ago is paying off (not that it was expensive to begin with, but worth it for sure).

To de-glamourize these photos, I spent about 35 minutes focusing, adjusting, running back and forth between each, single, self-timed shot.  Lots of frustration but also some victories as proven by these photos (hoorah!).  I kind of wanted to include more but it would have been photo-overload, and I already feel it somewhat is.

Hope everyone is having a great week thus far.  The past two nights I have spent at Place d'Orleans pulling outfits and shoes for the upcoming #MYVIPNIGHT on Saturday!  I'm styling six outfits and all the shoes for the fashion show, which is very exciting.  It's going to be a great event and I'm excited (and a little nervous) to host.  I hope you can make it out, I would love to meet each and every one of you (and get pictures?).  You can find all the details HERE.

Hello! I know it's been a while since I vlogged, I've just been part lazy and part boring...?

Anyway, this is a mish mash of last week, but mainly the weekend where I wore very little make-up and looked like a hot freakin' mess #wahwah  I did however get 5 loads of laundry done and reorganize my Fall/Winter accessories... oh, and show you a mini tour of my front foyer (nothin' to see here folks! LOL).  Cheers :)

Thanks for watching!

Friday night was a bit of a mish-mash night.  I got home from work and ended up taking a nap.  I ended up meeting Marco at the gym around 7:30pm for a great workout and got a (spray) tan afterwards.  Then we went to Montana's for a super late dinner, but it was delicious.  I asked for the steak with veggies but our server came back shortly thereafter and told us they were out of vegetables--what?!--so I opted for the loaded baked potato.  Naturally.

Saturday afternoon post-workout for shopping.
Outfit deets:  Mexx top, Winners leggings, Aldo boots (my newly modified ones--yay!) & purse.

Fall is in the air....and on the leaves of trees.

Saturday evening turned into an impromptu shawarma date & later two movies (Argo & Parker).

I hit the gym--again--on Sunday morning and did cardio for 35 minutes while catching up on my YouTube.  My butt was burnin' by the end of it but better than just sitting on my  butt watching YouTube instead.

Post-workout breakfast at the Arrow & Loon; we sat on the patio too which was so nice--minus the wasps--as there won't be too many of those opportunities much longer.

I spend Sunday afternoon doing laundry and cleaning my apartment.  I made a kale, tomato & avocado salad for a make-shift dinner and several healthy snacks afterwards to tide me over till bed time.

Outfit deets:
* Vintage top (thrifted).
* Mossimo pants that I picked up in Florida a couple years ago; you've seen them with this jacket before (which I was referencing when I got dressed) and on the weekend.
* Aldo wedge boots (Givenchy inspired) which I'm competely obsessed with and showcased in my most recent Fall Fashion video.
* Accessories:  Joe Fresh necklace (old), G21 sunnies, gifted square bangle, Suzy leather wrap bracelet & F21 bangle.

I know I'm kind of bombarding you with posts this week, but, I'm trying to make up for being so slack last week, and also, sometimes the inspiration, ideas and writing comes, and sometimes it doesn't.  I was so beat when I got home from work last night but I told myself, 'No, we're going back down and shooting these photos'--as well as the photos for my 'new' boots.

How is everyone's week thus far?  Mine has been fine, my evenings have been busy but last night was a total relax night (aside from doing dishes for an hour).  Speaking of relaxing, how anti-climatical was the ending of Dexter on Sunday.  What.  The.  Fudg..sicle?!  I'm sad it's over, but not nearly as sad as I would of been had it been a heart-wrenchingly upsetting ending.  I just feel kind of meh about it.  Like, oh well.  That ain't right.
