A Hoy Hoy

Joe dress & flats, Stitches skit, Garage jean jacket,
Le Chateau pashmina & necklace (similar here),
Aldo bangle & purse, Ardene fishnets, iPhone

The title of this post is fitting because  1. It represents a sailor term,  2. It's a inside joke between my sister and I, and  3. Said (awesome) sister took these photos (thnx Jr!).  Not only is this outfit sailor-inspired, but it brings me back to a current fave.  It also gives you a peak inside a day without heels.  How often do you see me in flats?  Not very often, but I certainly welcome it when it happens.  And lastly, when I saw my parents my mom asked me if this was a new dress (which I usually answer back with, 'What constitutes new, exactly?') and this was no exception.  It may be hard to believe, but, I bought this dress over a year ago and this was the first time I finally wore it.  Well, it turned out to be just the right day for it.

It's such a fun outfit... I love the relaxed vibe. And I also dig the nautical look. And I love how you styled the dress with a dotted scarf. xoxo

This outfit looks fabulous on you! I love the way you dressed it down with the denim jacket and flats for a more casual look. Isn't it SUCH a welcome change to be in flats for a day? It's like a whole new world down here.

Cool to know I'm not the only one who saves things I've bought. Sometimes I'll save something I have in mind for the future. Other times it's unplanned. Cute look! :)

I really like the nude fishnets - it's subtle but adds a bit of texture and sexiness to a more conservative outfit.

Look at you! How cute cute cute. I've really been loving polka dots and stripes together. Great contrast.

Actually it wasn't a truck load. More like a handbag load, but still... so awesome!!! ;)
