F21 SCARF - NEW BUT CAN'T FIND ONLINE (AS SEEN HERE)

On Friday evening we headed out to see Mockingly Jay Part II but realized, at the theatre, Marco had accidentally bought tickets to see Spectre instead!  It was still fun and I'm a huge Bond movie lover anyway.  We went to the new VIP theatre at Lansdowne where they serve a full menu in your seats along with alcoholic beverages #hello

The tree is up!

Who is ready for the weekend?  Me, me, me!

What are your plans?  Tonight we are going to see the new Hunger Games movie (I'm all caught up as of two nights ago), and Saturday we are heading to Kingston to visit Marco's family.  I'm also super stoked to pick up my new curling iron at our US postal box on the way; will share more in a video tutorial soon.

Have a great weekend!

Can't wait to go here next weekend.  Memories of last year here.

The final product of my Holiday photoshoot for Place d'Orleans.

Beautiful, ridiculously expensive lamp.

Shopping for my nephews; how adorable is this sweatshirt?

This kid's video is on point.

The perfect Christmas party dress.  #gasp

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here...

Photo taken at the Booby Ball last week.  See more with our friends here.

Hi ladies!  Today I'm sharing another video on layering up for colder weather & some of my favourite new pieces.

I love this time of year, before the snow flies, where we can rock all the cute, lighter layers without being completely covered in a parka.  Now is the time to pull out and show off your layers and rock suede footwear.  Also, if you're in the market for some new beanies, I'm sharing my current fave in the video--they are so comfy and at a great price point too.

O U T F I T  D E E T S :  SWEATER  |  SIRENS DENIM - OLD (SIMILAR)  |  BOOTS  |  BAG

This year, since the temperatures have dropped, I've been crazy attracted to sweaters.  I know that seems like common sense, but in the past I would wearing sleeved tees or blouses more than anything.  Maybe it's part getting older, part knowing what I really like, but sweaters currently have my heart.

I just picked this one up on the weekend and had initially gone in to get the olive green version but surprised myself by leaving with the cream.  It's so cosy and I love the wide, bell sleeves on it.  I would say it runs true to size, no need to size up like I normally do and mine is a medium with plenty of wiggle room.

I've linked a few more cozy sweaters at the bottom if you're in the mood for some shopping.

On Friday night, a group of friends and I went to Ottawa's first Booby Ball.  We had bought tickets months ago and the night was finally here.  It was a large event in support of breast cancer and it sold out.  It was held in the Horticulture building at Lansdowne Park and it was a huge party from the minute you walked in.

They had a photographer at the front taking everyone's photos as they arrived, a DJ spinning, a manicure station, passed appetizers, a photo booth, people dressed in Star Wars costumes, an open bar & more.  People were full of spirit and we saw tons of sequins, glitter, face paint and even some fun costumes.  We danced the night away and had a great time.

More photos after the jump...
