It seems spring fever has hit once again.  After spotting Corrie's outfit on The Bachelor (After the Final Rose), I decided to neglect my own personal feelings about sporting a summer-ish outfit in the winter ... so what if they filmed that show in a warm climate ... it IS March and it IS getting milder.  I'm sticking to my guns.

PS - If you love Corrie's necklace (like I do!), you can buy it here.

Barbie is back (not that she ever really left) and with a vengeance!  At 51 she's never looked better and Asos is now carrying a fantastic Barbie line, featuring the six new Barbies above.   Not only can you purchase the dolls & accessories (including life-size hand bags ~ 'I <3 Barbie' anyone?), but you can buy life-size LBDs , sunglasses, totes, shoes and accessories that were created in inspiration of Barbie!  Fun!

The lovely PK gave me this fantastic ornate shoe as a hostess gift when I hosted my clothing swap (so sweet!).  I think it pairs nicely with the stiletto hat box I have, but do need to find a real home for it.

Old Navy top, H&M skirt, Quipid platforms,
Dynamite belt, Louis Arden watch, Swarovski bangle

The weather is becoming more and more mild (I hope I didn't just jinx it!).  We were sitting at a 'balmy' -1 degree Celcius today, which is record warm weather for March!  Hopefully, it only gets warmer from here on out... I cannot wait much longer for summer, although, really, I have no choice.

So, in lieu of (hopefully) an early spring, I broke out the flowery top.

One of my favourite things is baked brie cheese with some sort of bread (baguette, croissants, phyllo pastry ... you get the picture).  I made a baked brie and paired it with this delicious crab-apple-bird-pepper-&-nutmeg jelly, fresh baguette and sliced Royal Gala apples.  Throw some wine in the mix (a pre-course to our filets) and deliciousness is obtained.
