My favourite trend at the moment is neon so I thought I'd share some fun online finds.  Stay tuned for a peek at my own neon acquisitions.

Psssst!  Neon nails.

Old Navy & Forever 21 are killing it with their affordable colour blocking tops out for Spring.  I couldn't decide which colour combo I liked best so I bought both (from F21).

Hi everyone!  My name is Isabel and I write the blog Walk Of Fashion.  I am very excited that Amanda has agreed to have me as guest blogger while she is busy preparing for her wedding and enjoying her honeymoon.  I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Amanda!

One of my favourite trends right now is leopard print.  Normally I am a bit against animal prints because if not worn carefully you end up looking like you belong in the zoo (IMO).  However, I have recently changed my tune and I am now loving animal prints, leopard to be specific, in small doses.  When worn right leopard print is such a chic way add some fun to a look.  Here are a few of my favourite items for adding a little leopard print to looks.

Leopard Print scarf, JC Penney $9.99

Leopard Ballet Flat, American Eagle $24.95
(Heels would also be super chic especially worn with dark denim)

Calf-Hair Skinny belt, Garnet Hill $48

And just to prove my point here is a photo of Katherine Power of Who What Wear photographed by Justin Coit.  I saw this photo on twitter and couldn't help but think, "How chic is she!?"

What do you think?
Chunky Gold

Ruffles are nice, but throw it on a one-shouldered dress and you get insta-glam and perfectly pretty.  With so many options and price points out there, it's hard not to want them all.  If I had to narrow it down, I would go with number 6.

Which is your fave?

2.  Hailey Logan Ruffled One-Shoulder, $89
3.  Urban Original Out of Your League, $36.90
5.  Topshop Polka Dot Ruffle, $84
6.  ASOS Forever Unique Pleat Grecian One Shoulder, $253.64
7.  ASOS Karen Millen Curvaceous One Shoulder Satin, $304.36
8.  Shoshanna One Shoulder Ruffle, $308
9.  Topshop Ruffle 1 Shoulder, $64
Garage jacket, Joe top, Mexx skirt, Fioni shoes, Bijoux Terner pashmina,
Suzy belt & ivory bangle, H&M gold bangle, Aldo necklace & ring

I bought this top with uncertainty several months ago.  You see, it's a cropped top, and although you can't exactly tell that in these photos (since it's tucked), believe me when I say it is.  Since baring my midriff is not something that appeals to me, but I figured, over a longer, fitted tank, this a-line style would be great.  Today I took it out and tried the tuck, and liked it.  Are you jumping in on the crop-top trend?

Gladiator sandals have been going strong for about three years now, and this summer will be no different.  Chic enough for a business-casual office, perfect for brunch and a great way to stay stylish while running errands around town.  In a variety of styles and colours, you can find them now at all price points and you can't go wrong.  Which pair would you wear?

After reading Emily's post on stripes, I found myself looking for more 'French-inspired' attire.  Does this include stripes?  Of course it does!  And although I'm no stranger to the stripe, it's always nice to freshen it up.  Not only do stripes remind me of the French, but my mind also wanders to a nautical theme.  Check out some of my picks below.

Adidas Celebrate Stripes Top $102.56

Rare Metallic Vertical Stripe Bandeau Dress $100.86 { my fave }

French Connection Candy Stripe Dress $168

Barbie is back (not that she ever really left) and with a vengeance!  At 51 she's never looked better and Asos is now carrying a fantastic Barbie line, featuring the six new Barbies above.   Not only can you purchase the dolls & accessories (including life-size hand bags ~ 'I <3 Barbie' anyone?), but you can buy life-size LBDs , sunglasses, totes, shoes and accessories that were created in inspiration of Barbie!  Fun!

Fur, fur, everywhere.  Fur has been all over the Fall 2010 and Spring (!) 2010 runways.  I'm a huge fan (in the faux variety, of course) and think it's a great way to add interest to an oufit, but of course, can be tricky to do.  I've scoped out some of my favourite pieces / looks ... what are yours?

Fall 2010

Spring 2010

Oh wedges, how you complete me.  Wedges have to be my favourite shoe style.  Easy to wear, often comfortable, sturdy, stylish, easy to walk in, and of course, overall just love the look of them.  As I perused some sites online, I came across several designer wedges for s|s 2010, along with a few more affordable options.

{ Aldo, 'Bastain' }

{ Michael Kors Spring / Summer 2010 }

I love Michael Kors ad campaigns.  They speak to me.  I'm not sure why, there is just something about them that I really, really like.  I always feel good when I see them, and crave the style ease and finesse.

Love that white hand bag.  Get it here

The Nautical theme seems to pop up every Spring in the stores (and in the previous fall on runways) prompting a slew of women, for the first time in a long time, to crave stripes (and US combo colours, and cute sailor-printed items, etc.). I am one of those women. I love the freshness of crisp white pants with a navy thin-knit or pairing a great pair of red wedges with a navy blue dress.

If it hasn't become evident yet, I'm officially putting it out there: I have a small shoe obsession.  I was playing around with my photo editing program and thought this turned out kind of neat.  This is a shot of a portion of my shoe closet - the wedges.
Forever 21 is having a massive online sale.  I came across this little bit of lovliness this afternoon and can't decide what I want!  Most items are under $11!  Share the wealth.
I came across these oh-so-delicious wedge boots today.  If there's one thing I'm a sucker for, it's wedges.  Throw a boot in the mix so I can ultimately winterize an often summer style, and you're golden.

Kaleidoscope dresses are popping up on runways and websites.  Could this be Spring's biggest thing?
