I hate that everyone is talking Fall--summer is so short, why are we rushing!?--but at the same time, I can't help but get excited for some Fall fashion. I have a distinct idea in my mind of what I want to wear this Autumn, providing the weather cooperates--so not likely--and it involves a lot of dark colours (mainly black, grey, navy & burgundy), chunky moto-style boots, oversized scarves and sweaters--nothing new for me--and getting a cute hat with a big pom-pom on it.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and when I logged into ShopStyle the other day they had a feature page with tons of pink items which in turn sparked my idea to create a set of pink items I'm currently coveting.

I certainly have a few white dresses hanging in my closet that only get play during the summer time. Around this time of year, when winter has started to drag on, I often day dream about sporting my summer stuff, including white dresses, denim jackets, gladiator sandals and no tights. A great way to bring some summery attitude to these cold months is through your clothing by winterizing your more summery gear. Throw in some tights, a chunky knit scarf and over-the-knee boots and your golden.
I have had my eye on a pair of Maison Martin Margiela booties and the slouch open-toe ankle boots are absolute perfection. My faves are the tan colour and the black python, and you?

Now that the weather is getting brisk, why not wrap yourself up in some fabulous faux fur? Fur can be fabulous, so long as it's fake, in many styles (vests, jackets, stoles, collars, hats & glove trims). Will you be keepin' it faux this year?
