I'm completely obsessed with strappy sandals / heels for Spring and Summer this year.  Normally I love wedges and something less dainty, but this year, strappies are all the rage.

I am still really debating these Express ones (love the thicker and higher ankle strap) as I kind of know I shouldn't, but really really want 'em!

Are you feeling the strappy heel trend?

I'm terrible at taking outfit photos, especially since it's been winter here for the past, oh, I don't know, six months.  Outfit photos inside kind of suck--bad lighting, boring scenery--but it's too cold to take them outside (except these ones turned out pretty good in my apartment).  I wish I had the balls (ie. warmth) to take outdoor winter outfit photos, but I don't, so until it warms up, well, you know the deal (did I mention it's snowing as I type this?).

On the other hand, I do try and take a pic of my outfit daily and post it to Instagram (I'm @acoest1984).  I post all of these under #acolookdowns if you're interested.

So what is everyone up to this weekend!?

Tonight there might be a party and tomorrow I'm doing a photo shoot for Place d'Orleans (via my Vlogger gig) for an upcoming contest.  Very excited about this and will of course share photos with you on Instagram and all the details afterwards here on my blog.  Sunday is up in the air, but something always comes up!

Have a great weekend!

Have you guys heard of FIG Clothing?  I hadn't either until a coworker friend told me about the Canadian company based out of Montreal.  Fast forward a few emails later and we were exploring the possibility of working together.

FIG Clothing is a line of clothes for women on the go.  Their pieces are meant to take you from airplane to  business meeting and everything in between--I wore mine out to dinner in Mexico, but could totally see myself wearing my Nev dress with a denim jacket and sandals for brunch or even over a bikini as it's a quick drying fabric.

Their clothes are meant to flatter and celebrate the feminine body and believe me when I say I felt feminine and confident in this dress (that added ruching in the tummy area is so flattering and forgiving; trust me, I ate a ton that night and while on vacation in general).

Everything is made in Canada and (best part!) they offer free shipping or you can check out the various stores they sell at in Canada and the USA.

* This post is sponsored by FIG Clothing. I was given the opportunity to shop with them but the dress was chosen by me. All opinions are my own and know that I truly love this line and would not share with you otherwise.  As always, thanks for reading & for supporting my sponsors!

I think we can all agree we've dated some interesting people in the past, and there is a reason those people are in our past, right?  Right.  And I think with each relationship, we learn a bit about ourselves, our likes, dislikes and what we would consider a dating deal breaker.

And the obvious disclaimer being that it's important to compromise in a relationship and work together and blah blah blah.  But let's get to the nitty gritty.

I can easily, off the top of my head, list off several things I do not want in a partner.  It's important to me that someone is motivated to work hard, ambitious, has good hygiene, patient, friendly and easy going.  I also cannot stand someone who is cheap (and have dated someone like that before and it was terrible, to say the least) or has a bad temper.  These are deal breakers for me.  Cannot see past them.  Cannot accept them.

I know my own weaknesses and while I work on those, I look for strengths in my partner that I don't necessarily possess as it often creates a good balance and we can learn from one another.

What are your deal breakers and what are you willing to see past?
