Although Spring's basket-weave wedge is beautiful, if you're looking for something slightly dressier and at a lower price, CutesyGirl has a great alternate for less.

 Everytime I get my hair coloured, this friend of my hair stylist always tends to show up.  She sits around, chats and the conversations between the three of us are always so ripe.  The most ironic part of it though, is that at yesterday's appointment, it was the third time she showed up and I happened to be there.  If you knew me, you'd know I don't get my hair coloured that often, and it certainly isn't like clockwork, so, it really is such a coincidence.  Regardless, with my wedding quickly approaching (just over two months away), I, for the first time, made a colour appointment months in advance.  The three of us agreed that we'd all 'meet' there on that day, wine in hand, foils in head.  When I go, it'll be one week before 'the big day' and I'm sure I'll be needed a couple glasses.

 { this is my fiancé's watch, which is becoming mine - ballinnnnnnn' }

I came across this fantastic shop online called, Spotted Moth.  They sell women's clothing and have everything from skirts to accessories to tops and dresses (and more!).  The price points are pretty good and I could not stop drooling over this scalloped skirt:

I can't seem to get enough of ruffles (seen here & here, and for purchase here), and this day was no different.  I made this top with some lilac-coloured chiffon I found at the fabricstore.  Initially, I was planning on making a  multi-tiered tank, but my mind wasn't working in that direction and of course wandered to what else? Ruffles!

Good news: the fiancé & I went out and he bought us a new camera!  Yipee!  So, although it wasn't used to take these pictures (because, you know, we have to charge the battery, and wait, etc.), I'll be back to clearer shots in no time.  However, I couldn't pass up showing you guys my latest project.

Well ladies, there is good news and there is bad news.  The good news is that my fiancé is back from his bachelor party in Vegas (phew!).  He's in one piece, tanned, a home safe.  The bad news?  He broke our camera within 10 minutes of getting off the plane in Sin City.  Ahhhh.

So I get a phone call, the first day he's there.  He sounds excited and happy; him and the boys (15 of them!) were checking everything out and had stopped to do some shopping.  His voice then turns nervous and he says, 'I feel really bad though, I have to tell you something... something happened... I did something...' ... I start to panick, thinking, 'Something happened already?! It's only been 10 hours!?'  But to my (somewhat) relief, he tells me he broke our camera.  I'm immediately relieved and then almost instantly crushed (which I try to hide with the, 'Oh, it's okay, um, we can get a new one... don't worry...').  My camera.  Our camera.  My life line.  My blog!!?  All of my friends call me 'the paparazzi' because I'm the one in the group always snapping shots, constantly (so much that they are often annoyed - ha!).  Anyways, long story short, that explains the grainy iPhone pictures.  The plan is to go out and look for another camera tomorrow, so, stay tuned my lovely readers.

PS - I just want to send a huge thank-you to all my amazing readers and followers.
Your comments put a smile on my face, each and everyone of them, thank you!
Also, as I've mentioned to some of you, I'm unable to access blogs
(and if by chance I can, I'm unable to comment) during the day,
but am doing my best to keep up with all of your
