Outfit deets:
* Urban Og dress (old) and seen with nude wedges and turquoise earrings (I sense a sub-concious theme here).
* BCBG heels that have been worn with white skinnies, a pretty turquoise strapless dress and white blazer, outdoors with a red pencil skirt, grey denim & with one of my favourite (and girliest) grey tiered skirt.
* Accessories: J.Crew bubble necklace, Swarovski bangle and vintage (thrifted) clutch.
I wore this to a baby shower last weekend and it felt so pretty. I purchased this dress over a year ago, wore it once (on Canada Day, last year, with red flats) and washed it. The netting part at the top got kind of ruined in the wash and I threw this dress in the, 'To be altered (or fixed)-pile'. Well, I finally stitched all the loops back together that had come undone with my sewing machine when I was making a top for myself and can now wear this (and always use a lingerie bag to wash it now).
Thankfully when I was getting dressed (in a rush), the sun was beaming into my room and I noticed that the dress is completely see-through! OMG. I quickly pulled out a long tank and bandeau top and made a make-shift tube dress to rock underneath to ensure full coverage. Imagine showing up at a baby shower, not realizing you're pretty much flashing everyone and having nothing to rectify the problem with? Eep!
Happy weekend!

Nail Polish Canada sent me a Konad Nail Stamping kit to try out. I love trying new things but wasn't sure how I'd feel
about this as I'm not big into designs on my nails (unless it's like an angled neon french mani ).
However, after trying it immediately upon receipt on me and my friend
at work (yes, it's that quick and easy), we both agreed it's pretty cool. Then I did this fresh mani
with some Zoya nail polish I already had and loved it (and got many compliments!).
There are seven designs to choose from on the disc that are each super intricate. The process is pretty simple:
1. Paint your nails, let them dry.
2. Paint the disc/design with the polish that comes in the kit.
3. Scrape it off with the provided blade.
4. Pick up the design with the rubber stamp.
5. Transfer it to your nail by simply rolling the stamp across your nail.
Voila!

Simple and looks so great. I don't like the idea of stamping each
finger, so I just stamped one on each hand. This would look great on
toes too.
So yesterday my BFF won an all-expense paid trip to Vegas for four days and to see the iHeartRadio music festival. How cool is that?! They called her on live radio and told her she won at 8am yesterday morning. They woke her up. What a way to be woken up!
Naturally she was taking her husband with her...until he realized the dates conflict with something work-wise and he can no longer attend.
So she picked me to go with her instead.
WHAT!?
We are going to Vegas in a month!
I. Am. Stoked (and grateful!). Can't wait! I've never been to Vegas and this cannot come quick enough. How crazy is this? We are officially on a shopping ban until then. Wish us luck.
Vegassssss.
...but not prior to doing a little damage at the mall with my other girl friend.
On Friday, I slept in, blogged and ate breakfast. Then I cleaned my apartment like crazy.
