I was perusing the thrift store the other day and came across this fabulous dress from a fave store.  I couldn't believe my eyes when it was in my size and obviously for a fraction of the price it would have normally been.  It also reminds me of the dress I wore at our wedding party meet-n-greet.  I snatched it up, brought it home, washed it and rocked it almost immediately.  Don't you love when things like that work out?

{ I made these umbrellas - tutorial - for my bridesmaids, however, we didn't have to use them }

I found this fabulous navy blue (sorry, I forgot to take a pic) tray at a local thrift store a couple months before the wedding. I thought it would be great for something, and potentially as something on our (orange) candy buffet. I immediately bought it (for $2) and brought it home. I picked up some neon orange (like my wedding shoes) spray paint and went to work. We ended up using the tray to host the little plastic bags we put out for people to put their candy in and it worked out perfectly!

My work held a Pancake Tuesday for employee appreciation and it was great!  Of course a favourite work friend of mine and I headed down to the cafeteria to take advantage of it.  Along with the pancakes they were serving coffee and tea but I had to get my favourite drink instead: milk.

These are certainly my go-to shoes - are you getting sick of seeing them?  I can't help it, I love 'em.  When I want to wear heels, but want to be comfy, I can count on these.  When my pants aren't quite long enough for my average heeled shoes (higher than these), I head straight for these ones.  When I'm in doubt, I pull these out.  What can I say?  I'm a sucker for my leopard-printed peep-toe wedges, they are just so great (and comfy!).  I've had them for about two years and I'm just kicking myself for not buying two pairs... but I couldn't have even if I had wanted to - there was only one size 10 left and I swiped them up immediately.  So glad I did!

PS - A very special thank you to all you amazing blog friends for your super
sweet comments on my wedding post yesterday - you made my day!

Stitches cardi & skirt, H&M top, AE cami, Spring gladiators (last seen here) & Bijoux Terner necklace

I bought this top from H&M three years ago and am still loving it.  I am always surprised when I hold on to something for years and still actually rock it.  It seems like when you're growing up, you don't tend to hold onto things very long, mainly because you are growing, but also because peer pressure often forces us to believe you can't hold onto things.  However, I also think, as we get older (and wiser), our tastes develop and I don't know about you, but I find myself purchasing things and knowing it's going to be around for some time.
