I'm such a fan of long necklaces but lately I've been tending more towards shorter, chunkier versions. I love the look under a collared shirt or with a scoop or boat neck. Now when I shop, I'm constantly on the hunt for shorter statement-making neck-wear.

I picked this up about a month ago and blogged about it HERE. I've been wearing this a little more than I should (since it's so recognizable) but I can't help it. It goes with so many things when I didn't think it would and adds the perfect amount of POW! to any outfit. I also love that it has gold detailing and sometimes looks like it's attached to the article of clothing I'm wearing.
* Le Chateau
This was a recent acquisition for my upcoming PDO Vlog for how to take your look from work to weekend or transition for a 5 a 7--aka after work drinks--seamlessly. I love the idea of simply adding a chunky necklace to add some pizazz or colour to an outfit.
* Joe Fresh
I received this necklace at Christmas from a friend and have gotten a ton of use out of it. It also came in gold and some Loblaws/Joe Fresh locations still have it. I have a similar, much older Joe Fresh necklace like this that is a shiny silver.

Layering these two necklaces gave my plain outfit that day some interest and accomplished the look I was hoping to obtain. I wanted a big, chunky necklace but didn't have anything big enough for that day so putting the two pieces together ended up getting me there.

I do not mind chunky necklaces. I really hate the first one you are wearing like nobody's business!
I love ALL of those necklaces! Each is so original and adds a different twist to any outfit.
