I saw some fringe bikinis while shopping a few weeks ago and was instantly drawn to them... and not sure why.  There is just something about them that I'm really feeling so I might have to scoop one up.  And since I'm going to Mexico, better sooner than later!

Would you wear this?

Something crazy is happening today.

My friends and I have been chosen to take part in the filming of Xtreme Waterparks.  The show debuted on the Travel Channel in July of this year and they are filming all over North and South America (from what I understand).  Our group of four beat out twenty other groups that applied for this.  Crazy!

That said, what you see above is what I will be wearing all day today during filming (HD filming, ack!), so we are hoping for warm weather.  I'm seriously freaking out, actually, as I'm somewhat of a chicken when it comes to the more extreme water-slides (what have I gotten myself into!?).

Wish me luck and I'll let you know how it goes.  Happy long weekend Monday!

There are a few articles of clothing that when they fit just so, shouldn't be passed up, those include jeans, formal dresses and of course bikinis.  It's not everyday you find one that fits perfect with a great price, so when it does happen, I tend to take advantage.  And that's exactly what I did last week over the course of three mini-shopping trips.  Some may say it's too early to be shopping for a bikini, and while I'm not going away this winter, it's never too early.

While I didn't like the matching bottoms for the Joe Fresh bikini tops, I do already have some bottoms that will work (and I like to mix-n-match too).  I was specifically thinking of this pair of red bottoms with small white polka dots (so nautical!).

See last year's bikini purchase here.

About four years ago, I scored big time on a couple bikinis from, surprisingly, La Senza.  It was the first time they came out with a swim line and I was stoked.  Since then, they have had no swimwear.  Imagine my (delightful) surprise when I walked in there today to find (ah-ha!) a s|s 2010 swim line!  This might have something to do with Victoria Secret recently buying the company - and I sure am glad they did.  The stuff is gorgeous and the prices are super affordable.  At $19.95/piece, it's hard not to buy each and every piece!

I, for one, resisted my urges to purchase many, and picked up one (hot pink) swimsuit with my gift card from AT (birthday gift)!

* Don't forget to check out my online closet - I've added a few new items! *

Victoria's Secret has launched their new swim line for summer 2010 and it includes ... a Topless Bikini! Of course, there is an optional way to wear it with a top. Would you wear this daring number?
