Well, shoes 4 through 7 have arrived and let's just say they are less impressive than 1 to 3. I was so excited for these to come and to be honest, I'm really only happy with one pair. The problem with ordering through Urban Original is it's not exactly worth it to send the shoes back. It would be almost as expensive as the shoes themselves, and then you're out s&h charges twice (and duty). Le sigh. Regardless, I might take a couple pairs to a consignment shop and try my luck.
These are sadly too big. The great part about these is the strap that goes around the back of your heel swivels to go across the front of your foot, if you'd like. This works as it'll keep my feet locked in, however, I'm not a huge fan of the 'Mary Jane' look, which is what it gives. However, I'm not giving up on them just yet, but ladies, if you order, size down one size.
The heels on these are massive, and I ordered 'black' and this is what came. Technically they sent the correct shoes, but they are certainly not black, more like dark brown. Not only do I feel like a giant when I put these on, I am a giant. Now, that's not to say I don't have heels this high, it's just the combination of the massive platform and skinny heel that doesn't help. Bad call.
I love these!! I'm so pleased with them and should have bought two more colours. They are true to size and fit well. Can't wait to some summer weather to rock 'em.
These are a little big, and really high. I'm disappointed, for sure. I could have sized down a size and they would feel a lot more secure on my foot. I was really looking forward to these ones so that's a bummer.
Love the sandals! Ive already ordered 2 pairs so now the warmer weather just needs to get here. I think you can make the first ones work, they have potential.
ReplyDeleteAh balls. That sucks. One of the biggest reasons I don't shop online is sizing. . that and shipping to Canada is highway robbery. Up at school we were 35 minutes from the boarder and there was a place right across in the US that you paid $3 and could ship anything there so we always saved big on shipping costs (and duty if you were lucky enough to not have to pay on the way back in)
ReplyDeleteHopefully you're able to sell them!
Oh, mais j'ai oublie d'ecrire en francais!! Je doit practiquer car je commence dans 6 jours!! EEK! Bonne journee ma belle!
Wow, I feel the same way about Urban Og and I live in the same state they are located in. The return shipping, plus the re-stocking fees and they always seem to "forget" to refund taxes paid (9.75% since I live in the same state) I end up losing out that I too don't return.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, for the shoes that fit you too big, buy some padded insoles and they then they'll fit you. That's what I do when shoes I order run big.
I'll never have enough shoes
this is why im always warry about buying clothes and shoes online. in the US alot of stores offer free returns but sadly not here :(

Those Enrich wedges are fantabulous! I hope you can make them work!
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about having a mini blog sale? That way you won't be stuck w/ too big shoes. :) And it gives us girls a chance to buy some kick ass shoes!
ReplyDeleteUgh that is SOO annoying!! I ordered a bunch of stuff online after christmas and NONE of it fit! Luckily I was able to return it to the store, but if there is not store, having to ship it back is the WORST!!
ReplyDeleteWell on the bright side at least you found one pair you liked!
