Grey, Mustard & Rose Gold

Urban Behaviour jacket, F21 top, Mexx skirt (last seen here), Wild Diva boties (last seen here),
Mexx belt (last seen here), Suzy necklace and Bijoux Terner bracelet

I snapped this pictures super quick on my lunch hour as the camera battery flashed, and flashed and flashed until it gave up.  I'm super surprised at how many 'not bad' pictures I got - score.

So I started a new job this week and it's been going really well, but hey, really, we are only on day three, but I'm super optimisitc about this.  I was pretty unhappy where I was before, stuck it out for a year and a half, and was still miserable.  It's so draining when you are unhappy at work.  Not only does it affect your view on going to work, it actually takes a toll on your whole life.  I was literally going into work backwards and counting the minutes till the end of the day.  I tried to do my best, but being unhappy does something to you.  The people I worked with were great though and gave me a super sweet pizza lunch on my last day, complete with well wishes and a few gifts (how sweet is that!?).  All in all to say, sunny skies ahead and I'm really excited about this new chapter in my life.

{ this picture makes me look pear-shaped... and although I'm not, I sometimes wish I was }

Ok, one, I love this outfit. Love everything about it, the shoes, the belt, the necklace are fantastic!

And I TOTALLY hear you about being happy at your job. I used to have a job that I made good money but I HATED it. It was like the minute I crossed the threshold of the building I turned into someone I didn't like--the bitter, angry, bitchy version of me. It was then I decided my happiness was more important with the size of my paycheck and I started my own business...scary, but worth it!!

Nothing wrong with looking pear shaped! Especially when you've got a, er, shapely pear? haha love it.

Congrats on your new job! I'm still looking *fingers crossed*

Congrats on the new job! How exciting! :)

Yellow is such an awesome color to wear with almost anything! I love wearing it with blue.

I'm not sure what I'm going to wear to the December wedding. I'm pretty sure it'll have to be empire waisted. It's just really tough because I like trying things on for fit but there's virtually no maternity clothing stores here. And the ones they do have are either over priced for nothing or they sell really frumpy crap. Wish me luck! ;)
