Good morning & happy Monday! How was your weekend? We got away to Mont. Tremblant on Friday night, and stayed at a cute Airbnb in the village. If you follow along on Snapchat (acoest1984) or Insta Stories, you saw how freezing cold it was!
We got in around 8pm, dropped our gear inside and headed into the village for a late night dinner...
We love La Forge, which is your typical ski resort restaurant, complete with 360 windows at the bottom of the mountain. I love anything in a bread bowl and got the French onion soup while Marco tucked into the duck wings and pizza.
Afterwards, we made our way back to the tiny condo and settled in for the night.
The next morning was still just as cold (ahem, -20C) so we layered up big time and made our way out to the hill. We met up with our friend and the three of us had an awesome afternoon.
It had snowed 43 centimetres four days earlier, so the trees were just covered in snow.
We are trying to get as many ski days in as possible in the next few week because we are taking a ski trip at the beginning of next month, so, have to get the ski legs ready!
We rushed back to the city so I could make it out to my girlfriend's birthday dinner at Town, which was awesome. There were about eight of us, and then we met up with several more ladies for some drinks and laughs. An awesome evening.
The next day, Marco and I met up with my parent's for brunch, a monthly ritual we are trying to create to catch up.
