Hi ladies, today's post is all about taking basics you may already have in your closet, and transitioning them for spring; the cool to warm weather.
As a neutrals lover, I'm usually starting the base of my outfit with some sort of black, white or denim for the bottoms (the odd time with olive green). Layering is key in this weather, so grab an oversized cardigan, throw a scarf in your bag and to make the outfit more warm-weather appropriate, I like to pair with a warm weather shoe. Pumps aren't necessarily for warm weather, but barring your ankles are, so let them breathe.

Easing into the warmer weather with the help of a cardigan is perfect, then when it gets warm enough in the afternoon, take it off and you're left with easy chic for happy hour.
These nude pumps have been in my closet for years, and I'm sorry they're no longer available (the brand is Enzo Angiolini, I got them on Amazon and they ran me about $80), however, these ones are super similar and I think I like them even more. They are literally the perfect nude pump, and everyone comments on the high ankle back--it's so different and an unexpected touch.
Shoes like these are great for spring, and will work in the office or for an evening out; nude is always my go to to lengthen the leg or as the perfect shoe to blend in when you want the rest of your outfit to stand out.
