New Years Eve is just a few days away but there is still time to snag something sparkly before the ball drops. I love sequins for the holidays (I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to them!) and like I've mentioned before, tend to invest in at least one piece per year as they will truly last & keep in your closet forever.
I'm a big fan of long sleeved sequin mini dresses, but also love a sequin top to dress up with a skirt (leather would be awesome) or down with some denim or distressed black skinnies.
Today I'm sharing a few ways I've worn sequins over the years, plus sharing a bunch of similar items in case you're looking to get your sparkle on this weekend.

Long sleeved mini dresses are my favourite, and if you like to show off your legs, this will be right up your alley. These styles keep you covered, but still bring the sexy. You could pair with or without tights, but if you do, I'd keep it to a nude fishnet or a black opaque as to not steal the spotlight from the dress.
Love this unexpected green sequin mini dress, this plunging neckline & how pretty is this rose gold number?
If you're feeling a little more dramatic, this floor length sequin dress is stunning & under $80.
Sequin pants can be a little tricky to pull off--they add a bit of bulk and can be a little scratchy. However, there is no denying the cool factor of a great pair of sequin pants. Style with a faux leather blazer, an open back top, a fuzzy sweater or just a simple cami. Whichever way you choose, the pants will shine and you'll look great.
Again, I'm a big fan of a sequin top--they are chic (hello cropped long sleeve style I'm loving), come in a variety of colours and are usually a little boxier, so bring on the cocktails!
And finally, the sequin pencil skirt can really do no wrong. This piece will take you from NYE party to festive Christmas party next year, and would even be pretty with a red top for Valentine's Day.
