Weekend Recap: iPhone Snaps

My weekend began Thursday night (I took Friday off) with Fish 'n Chips, beer & a girl friend.

...but not prior to doing a little damage at the mall with my other girl friend.

On Friday, I slept in, blogged and ate breakfast.  Then I cleaned my apartment like crazy.

Later that afternoon I ran some errands in my chevron-printed maxi.

Friday night date.
Outfit deets:  Walmart top, Dynamite shorts, Kelsi Dagger wedges, Auslini bangle, A.Co Designs bracelet & Dollarama hoop earrings.

One of the best burgers (and sweet potato fries) ever on Friday night.

Home-made pickled beets!

On Saturday morning, I brought my girl friend breakfast because...

...she lent me her Lincoln MKX for my sister's bachelorette party (ridin' in style!).

Pole dancing for the bachelorette (yes, those are feathered devil horns).

 Getting the party started.

 The bride and me.

Bachelorette dinner out.

On Sunday I ran some errands in the morning.
Outfit deets:  Joe Fresh top, Material Girl skirt & Promise sandals.

I attended a Baby Shower for a good friend in the afternoon and the decor was killer.

I brought cucumber/cream cheese roll-ups...

...and wore an Urban Original dress (outfit post coming).

  4. @Sherice the cucumber roll ups are suuuuuper simple.

Take regular bread, cut off the crusts. Take a rolling pin and flatten the bread. Spread with cream cheese (I used spreadable stuff, ie. stuff you'd buy for your bagel) and sprinkle with pepper. Cut cucumber into quarters or more, depending on size. Cut the length of the cucumber piece the same as the bread and roll it up. Slice the bread into bite size pieces and serve.
