O U T F I T  D E E T S :  SEQUIN DRESS (SIMILAR GOLD, GREEN & ROSE GOLD)  |  REPORT SIGNATURE HEELS -- OLD (SPLURGE, BUDGET FRIENDLY)  |  EAR CUFF  |  BANGLES

I wanted to share one more look for New Years Eve because I got this dress for Christmas from my parents after my Mom saw it on my Black Friday post, again #wishlistFTW

Sequins are a natural choice for New Years Eve but I love that this dress is in a totally unexpected colour.  I am a huge fan of sequin dresses, or anything for that matter, and especially love how this one has sleeves.  Since it's on the short side, I paired mine with a nude fishnet tight, but opaque black tights with a black shoe or bootie would work, as would bare legs if you're in a slightly warmer climate.

O U T F I T  D E E T S :  ROMPER (CURVY OPTION)  |  BELT  |  HEELS  |  EARRINGS  |  LIPSTICK

New Years Eve is a few days away, do you have plans?

This year, we are heading out so I'll be wearing this fun, sparkly playsuit I shared in my Holiday Lookbook.  New Years is a great time to pull out all the sparkle, sequins & special fabrics, so why not make it simple and do it in a one-piece to take the guess work out of it.

I went all out sparkle with the shoes, but this would look equally great with a black pump, or my favourite, a coloured heel like these.

Good morning ladies!  Happy Monday & post Christmas week!

I wanted to do a round up of Christmas in this edition of the Weekend Recap since it all kind of bled together.  We had three wonderful days off, that were busy and relaxing so onto the snaps.

Christmas Eve is my Dad's birthday, and I shared this photo on Instagram...

It's the biggest shopping day of the year in Canada today: Boxing Day!

Are you shopping today?  I am, but instead of braving the malls like I used to do, I'm doing it from the comfort of home online.  If you're in the mood to do the same, I've rounded up a few happening deals below...

Aldo  |  20% off new arrivals, use code XOALDO.  Also, 50% off original, reduced styles (no code).  Love these, have these & want these.

Aritzia  |  Up to 50% off, no code.  Love this cape/cardigan, such a pretty sweater & want this one.

Nordstrom  |  Half-yearly sale, save up to 50% (I will do a separate post dedicated to this).  Have something very similar to this faux leather blazer and wear it all the time, Hunter Boots on sale (this never happens!) & got this for my bestie's birthday.

Steve Madden  |  25% off + free shipping, use code BOXING.  Love the fringe detail on these,  Isabel Marant dupe (perfect for cold winters) & bought these last year.

White Fox Boutique  |  20% off, use code BOXING20.  Love this sweater & this crop top.

Yves Rocher  |  50% off everything + $10 off and free shipping on orders of $60 or more.  Swear by this eye cream, love this night cream (have been using it since our trip to Italy) & this body oil smells so good!

DRESS -- SOLD OUT (SIMILAR)  |  HEELS - OLD (SIMILAR)  |  SEQUIN PURSE

Merry Christmas ladies!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day.  We went out of town yesterday to spend the evening with Marco's family and then came back today to spend the afternoon and evening with my family.  We just finished opening some gifts and are now anxiously awaiting turkey dinner--my favourite meal!

Hope you are able to spend the day with some people you love and getting to eat some of your yummy favourites.  We have been getting into the Christmas spirit with tons of treats and family time.  As an added bonus, it's 10 degrees Celsius and a green Christmas; normally we have at least a foot of snow!  Not going to lie, I'm kind of loving the mild weather, although I know some are missing that white Christmas.

Thanks for always reading and sending warm holiday wishes to all of you.

Cheers! xo

Friday, golden hour.  The sun is setting behind me, but it reflects off the buildings that we can see from the condo and casts the most gorgeous light.

Last week I was sick, and to be honest, I'm still fighting a terrible cold.  The holiday season is something I love and get so excited for, but I definitely tend to bite off more than I can chew.  Between social gatherings, hosting, shopping, Vlogmas, regular work, blogging and this year my condo closing,  it's a lot, and my body is saying, slow down.

That said, I'm definitely feeling better, but it's still lingering.  I tried not to do too much this weekend, but after laying in bed for three days, I was feeling pretty anxious to get out and be productive.

On Friday night, Marco surprised me by coming home with Indian take-out.  We had tickets to see Star Wars and a birthday party to attend and I stayed home while he went out.

The Holiday season is upon us and I can't believe we're only a week out from Christmas!

Today I'm sharing my Holiday Lookbook video--my favourite video to put together each year!  If you follow me on Facebook, you've already seen this but love to share it here as well.  I've put together six, different outfits that will take you from holiday party, to Christmas dinner all the way through to New Years Eve and the countdown!

Hope you enjoy & as always, thanks for watching!

Happy Friday ladies!  What are your plans for the weekend?  I've been out for half the week with a terrible cold, so hopefully I'm finally starting to kick it.  We are having friends over for a holiday dinner tomorrow night and Sunday will be a relax day.  Hope you have a great weekend & here are some fun links from around the web...

I know I'm pretty behind on sharing this recap, but wanted to get it up anyway.

In November we helped Marco's mom get a new Christmas tree and spent a weekend with her.  I decorated our feather tree with some ribbon--and dicovered it cannot hold any real ornaments--and bought a few more monogrammed ornaments for the real tree, because I'm obsessed.

My best friend had her second baby, and I was in the delivery room for the birth, which was one of the best experiences of my life.  We attended the Booby Ball with a bunch of friends and I saw the Holiday results of the photoshoot I did back in August (video recap here), at Place d'Orleans.

I checked out the new Forever 21 Red store (and shared a huge haul video), shared an outfit with a cozy sweater and we hit up Tremblant for opening weekend.  I got a new camera, did some shopping, we got our first snowfall and finally, hosted a fondue friends-giving dinner to round out the month.

Who struggles with what to buy the men in their life?  I certainly do, especially when it comes to the boyfriend.  You'd think I would have that down by now but really, what do you get the person that has everything?

So today I've rounded up several items for the man in your life from $30 to $500 to help take the guess work out of of gift giving and score some major points with the guys you buy for.

Happy shopping! xo

On Friday night I went to a Girls Christmas Party at a friend's house where we were instructed to wear our Christmas jammies.  Turns out I didn't have any Christmas pajamas... until now.

I popped into Ardene and tried on a bunch of Christmas-themed comfy clothes and this thin, fleece onesie stole my heart.  I grabbed these cutie slippers as well, in white.

If you've been around for a while, you know I've been waiting for a condo to be built that I purchased over three years ago.  Well ladies, the time is finally here and I'm closing next week!

The other day, I had my pre-delivery inspection to ensure everything looks good, but more importantly, see the unit for the first time.  Since I purchased this from a floorplan, walking into the condo was a little surreal and I'd love to share some photos with you...

Hi ladies!  How many of you are heading to a holiday party, want special hair but don't know what to do?

I find this time of year is especially the time of year for undoes and pulling out all the stops.  That said, today I'm sharing a video on a half-up half-down do that is perfect for a festive party, but also not so complex that you can't do it.

The key to the look is adding extensions to give volume and length, but you could do this without them if it's not in your budget or you aren't comfortable with them.  That said, I do quickly show how I clip in my extensions at the beginning of the video so hopefully that helps.

I recently picked up this three-in-one choker meets dainty necklace.  I grew up in the 90's, so I've done the choker thing and didn't think it was for me again but turns out, I'm loving it!  After just one wear, I know this necklace is going to get a lot of play this winter.

Happy December ladies!  Who is getting excited for the holidays?  I have started my shopping but have a ways to go.  We have a bunch of holiday get togethers with friends and family in the coming month which will be fun (with tons of food treats--one of the best parts of the holidays, right?).

Like last year, I'm doing Vlogmas again this December, which is essentially vlogging everyday for the month.  I'll be sharing daily activities along with the parties we attend and various things leading up to Christmas.  I am debating whether I should share the videos here everyday, as well as regular posts.

The other night, we hosted some friends for a holiday Fondue Friendsgiving, which was not only our first dipping party, but also the first festive gathering of the season!

I'd love to share some photos with you if you'd like to see, along with my five tips for hosting...

HAT  |  WINNERS SWEATER (SIMILAR)  |  BRALETTE  |  SKINNIES  |  ALDO BOOTS - OLD (SIMILAR)  |  NECKLACE

On Friday night we headed out for an impromptu date night.  It was raining all day and since we were trying to film my Holiday Lookbook, I was all made up.  I threw on the hat in an attempt to save my hair from the weather.

We went to Milestones and had an amazing meal.  Even though we usually go for stand-alone restaurants, this place is one we really love.  I tried a Moscow Mule for the first time and discovered I have been seriously missing out!  #whydidntanyonetellme

Hi ladies!  Happy Cyber Monday -- holy smokes, who is shopping again?

Today I'm sharing a huge Forever 21 Red haul with tons of Fall and athletic fashion.  We just had a new store open up at Place d'Orleans so of course I had to check it out and I scored big time.  I explain what F21 Red is all about in the video as well as share a few clips of what the store looks like, if you'd like to see.

As always, thanks for watching & happy shopping.

FOREVER 21 JACKET - LAST YEAR (THIS YEAR/ALMOST IDENTICAL)  |  LONG SLEEVED TEE (ALSO HAVE IT IN GREY)  |  DIY RIPPED SKINNIES (SIMILAR)  |  ALDO BOOTS (SIMILAR)  |  DYNAMITE SCARF - LAST YEAR (SIMILAR)

Hi ladies!  I'm back with another round up of camera roll outfits to share.  Sometimes I look back through these and forget what I wore so this is a good reminder for an outfit in a pinch when you're trying to get out the door.

The look above I wore last night out shopping.  The temperatures have dropped--we have snow as of yesterday morning!--so a warm but not-too-heavy jacket was imperative.  I loved ripped skinnies and these ones stay up on my hips.  This is definitely a evening/weekend go-to look for me, in all neutrals of course.

SMART SET SWEATER - OLD (SIMILAR)  |  CAMI  |  SIRENS DENIM - OLD (LOVE THESE)  |  PEEP-TOE BOOTIES - ON SALE! (LOVE THESE)  |  NECKLACE

F21 SCARF - NEW BUT CAN'T FIND ONLINE (AS SEEN HERE)

On Friday evening we headed out to see Mockingly Jay Part II but realized, at the theatre, Marco had accidentally bought tickets to see Spectre instead!  It was still fun and I'm a huge Bond movie lover anyway.  We went to the new VIP theatre at Lansdowne where they serve a full menu in your seats along with alcoholic beverages #hello

The tree is up!

Who is ready for the weekend?  Me, me, me!

What are your plans?  Tonight we are going to see the new Hunger Games movie (I'm all caught up as of two nights ago), and Saturday we are heading to Kingston to visit Marco's family.  I'm also super stoked to pick up my new curling iron at our US postal box on the way; will share more in a video tutorial soon.

Have a great weekend!

Can't wait to go here next weekend.  Memories of last year here.

The final product of my Holiday photoshoot for Place d'Orleans.

Beautiful, ridiculously expensive lamp.

Shopping for my nephews; how adorable is this sweatshirt?

This kid's video is on point.

The perfect Christmas party dress.  #gasp

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here...

Hi ladies!  Today I'm sharing another video on layering up for colder weather & some of my favourite new pieces.

I love this time of year, before the snow flies, where we can rock all the cute, lighter layers without being completely covered in a parka.  Now is the time to pull out and show off your layers and rock suede footwear.  Also, if you're in the market for some new beanies, I'm sharing my current fave in the video--they are so comfy and at a great price point too.

O U T F I T  D E E T S :  SWEATER  |  SIRENS DENIM - OLD (SIMILAR)  |  BOOTS  |  BAG

This year, since the temperatures have dropped, I've been crazy attracted to sweaters.  I know that seems like common sense, but in the past I would wearing sleeved tees or blouses more than anything.  Maybe it's part getting older, part knowing what I really like, but sweaters currently have my heart.

I just picked this one up on the weekend and had initially gone in to get the olive green version but surprised myself by leaving with the cream.  It's so cosy and I love the wide, bell sleeves on it.  I would say it runs true to size, no need to size up like I normally do and mine is a medium with plenty of wiggle room.

I've linked a few more cozy sweaters at the bottom if you're in the mood for some shopping.
