This is the first year in a few years that I haven't taken a warm-weather-vacation in the new year (the year is still new, I suppose this could change), but that is mainly because I spent my money on trips before Christmas (Las Vegas in September, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in November).

I have to say though, while it was nice to get away at the early signs of winter, I think I prefer to go away February or March.  It really breaks up the winter nicely and you get to escape the most frigid temperatures of the year!

Do you have a preference?  Do you prefer warm or chilly vacation spots?

Hi everyone!  Thought I would give you an update on my workout routine as it's been a while since the last one.

After my trip to Dominican, I kind of fell of the workout band wagon.  Instead of going three to four times a week, I was down to once a week or less (gasp!).  However, after Christmas I got back into the swing of things and seem to be back on track.

I wanted to share with you a few workouts I have been doing lately.  I've been really trying to push myself as I find doing the same workouts over and over again eventually are not challenging and my goal is to be sore the next day so I know I pushed myself and worked hard.

Most of these workouts I made up myself, but sometimes I find various ones on the Internet and Instagram.

Today I'm sharing with you how I have recently organized my pashminas.  Before, they were all stuffed into a huge bin at the bottom of my closet, which was out of the way, but I never wore them as it was such a pain to dig through and find the one I was searching for (additionally, as I cleaned them out, I found ones I had forgotten about!).

Now, using a very simple method (below), they are organized and easy to see.  If you have extra hanging space (I had to make some), this might be helpful for you to get your scarves out where you can see them to maximize their use.  I now use that pink bin to house extra hangers that were taking up valuable hanging space on my rolling rack!

A big ol' bin of scarves!

I recently discovered a website called Everbuying (similar to eBay, without the bidding) as I was looking to purchase a battery-pack style charger for my iPhone.

Well whaddayouknow, they sell clothes too!

Of course they are from China, and teeny tiny which is why I'm currently wishing I was a petite Asian so I could fit into the dress above (wah wah; plus it's more like a shirt on me #tallgirlproblems).  Sadly, all three items that I ordered aren't exactly the best fit despite purchasing size large for everything.

That said, I thought I would share with you what I picked up because the pieces are really fashion-y and cool, for cheap cheap cheap.  And THIS is the charger for my iPhone that I picked up a couple months ago aswell.

* I love this jacket and while the shoulder fit is a little wonky, the body is roomy so I'm going to make it work.  Such a chic, unique looking piece, especially for the price.

(button-less with buckles on sleeves)

* This jacket is quite snug but there are two darts in the back that I'm going to let out to give me more room to wrap it arond me.  My mannequin's waist is smaller than mine but I'm hoping with letting the darts out, it will then look like this on me.

This is not a sponsored post, I simply went shopping & am sharing.

Although it's still almost two years away from my new condo being ready, I thought I would post any inspiration I have for what will be a blank slate.  I like looking at others' inspiration and also, it will be a great resource for me to go back when I do move and start the decorating process.

Since I will have an entire room dedicated to my closet (eep!), I have many, many ideas swirling in my head.  I'm not sure if I want a dark theme (my initial thought) with dark shelves and drawers, or a white coloured theme (some of the photos with that are so pretty).  Additionally, wouldn't it be so cool to be able to hang your lingerie (instead of stuffing it in a drawer and hat boxes like I do now)?  I already have a manequin which I love to dress up and I just ordered two acrylic bracelet t-stands to further organize my accessories.

Here are some photos I've found online that I'm drawn to.
