The lovely PK gave me this fantastic ornate shoe as a hostess gift when I hosted my clothing swap (so sweet!).  I think it pairs nicely with the stiletto hat box I have, but do need to find a real home for it.

The weather is becoming more and more mild (I hope I didn't just jinx it!).  We were sitting at a 'balmy' -1 degree Celcius today, which is record warm weather for March!  Hopefully, it only gets warmer from here on out... I cannot wait much longer for summer, although, really, I have no choice.

So, in lieu of (hopefully) an early spring, I broke out the flowery top.









One of my favourite things is baked brie cheese with some sort of bread (baguette, croissants, phyllo pastry ... you get the picture).  I made a baked brie and paired it with this delicious crab-apple-bird-pepper-&-nutmeg jelly, fresh baguette and sliced Royal Gala apples.  Throw some wine in the mix (a pre-course to our filets) and deliciousness is obtained.




Oh the regret.  I am feeling super regretful (for donating four garbage bags full of clothes to my local GoodWill) thanks to (love) Maegan's site.  She has these amazing ways to DIY and make all sorts of fun, unique things ... with old clothes!
