White pants are definitely within my Top 10 wardrobe staples (although not listed there) and something I'm always drawn to. I bought these pants over two years ago while vacationing in Orlando, and they've gotten a ton of play. Sadly, I can't wear them in the winter - not because of the 'rule' (I don't abide by that rule), but because it is too wet, slushy and mucky here (they'd be a mess, especially up the back of my legs) - however, since it's dry and warm now, full steam ahead! Of course I picked them on a day where it poured rain (it was nice when I left the house, I swear!).

Even though summer is fast approaching, we seemed to have shifted into some cooler (rainier) weather. Normally I wouldn't image breaking out (closed-toe) boots in June (when you live in a climate that gets snow for at least 5 months of the year, you really relish not wearing boots the rest of the year), but it was a cool, overcast day, so there. Do you have any seasonal faux-pas?
On Saturday, we went a friend's wedding. The location: a yatch club. The weather: sunny and beautiful. The couple: happy. The day turned out to be so nice for an afternoon wedding on the water. The reception was formal, yet casual and breezy, and everything went off without a hitch. Congratulations to J & C!

Although Spring's basket-weave wedge is beautiful, if you're looking for something slightly dressier and at a lower price, CutesyGirl has a great alternate for less.
